The Silver Sword Fencing Academy in Montreal
The Silver Sword Fencing Academy was established with the aim of developing joyful sports in the Olympic city of Montreal in 2017. At this academy, fencing classes are held privately and in groups in the Greater Montreal area, and all players from beginner to national levels are under the supervision of an Iranian coach learning fencing.
Services and offerings of Silver Sword Fencing Academy in Montreal
After completing the introductory course, fencers can join the Silver Sword internal teams and participate in the fencing league. About five percent of the academy's players are dear Iranians, and we hope to see the development of this beautiful sport among compatriots residing in Montreal. Currently, this academy is inviting those born between 2008 and 2010 who are interested in learning this discipline to register for its youth team. In the first term, the academy provides all fencing equipment to players free of charge.

Received 100% of the boys' and girls' under-15 medals in the 2018 Montreal Games. Received 100% of the girls' under-9 medals in the 2019 Montreal Games.
Initiating fencing for the first time on Nuns' Island, organizing a refereeing seminar for Montreal city referees. Holding more than 100 trial classes to identify suitable talents for fencing. Organizing the Silver Sword internal league for the first time in Canada with the participation of 8 teams. Hosting a fencing equipment training and repair workshop. Organizing a competition among Canada's youngest fencers under 6 years old. Collaborating with fencing clubs in Quebec and training coaches from other clubs. Publishing articles on the subject of fencing sports.
Performance before establishment:
Private training for Canadian national team players in 2012-2013. Research and talent identification in disability centers to detect talent for disabled fencing in 2012. Forming the national wheelchair fencing team for Canada for the first time in the country's history in 2013. Achieving fifth place in the world team ranking by defeating the USA and Argentina in 2014. All these achievements have been made possible through scientific planning, sports management, and the support of 30 years of fencing experience along with the cooperation and efforts of players and cherished parents who are committed to a bright future for their children in this sport.
